NEW DELHI: Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Indu Sarkar’ is all set to open the 15th Annual Bollywood film festival, Norway to be held in September.

The film is based on a 21-month long period, from 1975 to 1977, when the then prime minister Indira Gandhi unilaterally had a state of emergency declared across the country.

It released in India on July 28 after seeing a fair amount of buzz and controversy. However, the film did not fare well at the box office.

The flick stars Neil Nitin Mukesh and Kirti Kulhari in the lead roles.
