In what could easily be an unprecedented move, the CBFC has asked the makers of Amitabh Bachchan starrer are asked to put up a disclaimer with their trailer Ram Gopal Varma’s third instalment in Sarkar franchise has in news for some time.
The filmmaker is uniting with Amitabh Bachchan once again for this film and is all set to release the first trailer soon. Usually disclaimers are reserved for films. Promos and trailers are spared this safeguarding exercise.
However, in what could be a first, or at least rare, the CBFC has asked the makers of Sarkar 3 trailer.
The reason behind this is that the Board has felt that the scenes and dialogues of the trailer bear an uncanny resemblance to the Thackeray family and a disclaimer is an absolute must.
