I begin my morning with: Five soaked almonds and five walnuts.

My diet preference: I am a vegetarian  but I eat eggs.

My favourite dish : Is anything home made even if it is Punjabi food. I also love South Indian food.

My breakfast is : Sometimes I have sooji ka kheer or poha/upma/idlis.

My lunch is : A square meal which is one green vegetable, a dal  and rotis made of jowar or bajra or multigrain. I rarely have wheat flour rotis and salad. I have curds with both my meals.

In the evenings: I love having chatpata like pani-puri or sev puri or bhel.

My dinner: I have an early dinner and mostly soup.

My fitness regimen: I have a dog so I take my pet for walks in the morning and I  walk on the treadmill while watching TV.

My favourite desserts: I have a major sweet tooth, give me anything sweet and I am happy.

My favourite restaurants: Dakshinayan for South Indian and Mainland China for Chinese.

I can cook: I am not a great cook but my people at home say whatever I cook is really good. When I am not doing a show, I enjoy cooking for my folks.

My favourite cook in the world: My mother. But I would like to add that I love the food made by my husband, Sachin. He cooks occasionally but whenever he cooks he does it with a lot of love.

My favourite food as a child: Chaats and wada pao.

My favourite beverage: I relish nimbu pani.

My favourite spice: I love the flavour of ajwain in my food.

My favourite kitchen appliance: The tandoor is good for many dishes.

Currently my favourite dish is: Malai Paneer Tikka.

My romantic meal: Is obviously with my husband. My husband loves Chinese food. For a romantic outing, we like going outdoors especially the mountains.
