Dangal, starring Aamir Khan entered it's 18th day today. Reportedly, the movie may now set a new record by becoming the highest grossing Indian film ever, as it has already received a domestic nett of Rs 345 cr and worldwide gross of Rs 651.92 cr.
According to Taran Adarsh, a Hindi movie critic and biz analyst, Dangal has become ready to create a new Rs 350 cr club within Bollywood standards.
Two years ago, Aamir Khan's PK was the first movie to enter the Rs 300 cr club. That record was smashed by Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijan quite soon. Up until November 2016, Salman Khan's Sultan was the highest earning Indian film ever, but post-Dangal, the tables seem to have been turned.
