Salman Khan’s ‘Tubelight’ teaser is out, and it's fascinating

NEW DELHI: Salman Khan fans, rejoice! The teaser trailer of his highly-anticipated movie ‘Tubelight’ has been released and it is all that you have been waiting for.

Salman took to Twitter and shared the teaser and captioned the video, “aljaa Jaljaa ... Jal Gaya #TubelightTeaser! @kabirkhankk @amarbutala @TubelightKiEid @SKFilmsOfficial.”

The teaser begins with an announcement that is being made on All India Radio regarding the bombardment on Indian posts that killed 264 soldiers.

We are then introduced to the character of Salman and his young co-star Matin Rey Tangu and Chinese actress Zhu Zhu.

Towards the end of the trailer, we get to hear Salman’s first dialogue and he says, “Faith is like a Tubelight. It lights up late, but once it does, there is a lot of brightness everywhere.”

‘Tubelight,’ set in the 1962 Sino-Indian War, revolves around the life of an Indian man, who falls in love with a Chinese woman.

The film marks the Bollywood debut Chinese actress ZhuZhu and also stars Sohail Khan and late actor Om Puri.

Helmed by Kabir Khan, the flick is slated for an Eid release.
