Bharat producer calls Priyanka Chopra 'unprofessional' for leaving the film

It came as a surprise for fans of Priyanka Chopra when film director Ali Abbas Zafar revealed the actress's decision to quit his film Bharat. He tweeted in his Twitter account explaining PeeCee has left the film for a 'very very special reason'.

While the fans were still undergoing the sudden surprise when the foreign media reported Priyanka and Nick Jonas reportedly got engaged a week ago on her birthday, which came as a bigger surprise. 

Her sudden decision to quit the film has made one of the producer to comment her as unprofessional. Nakhil Namit who is the CEO of Reel Life Entertainment has told Mid-Day that he is unhappy with PeeCee's decision to quit the film on such short notice. “Priyanka told us she had to exit due to her engagement, two days ago. It was a little unprofessional of her to do it so suddenly,” he told the daily.

The report also suggests that the movie's lead star Bhai aka Salman Khan is now on a hunt to find Priyanka's replacement. Katrina Kaif and Jacqueline Fernandez seem to be the most likely choices for the film. 

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas met at the 2017 Met Gala where they represented Ralph Lauren. They arrived in India during June for a short holiday where they both attended Mukesh Ambani's son Akash and Shloka Mehta's engagement bash in Mumbai.
