BANGALORE: Master Snehith is very happy with the success of his maiden movie ‘Appu Pappu’.

Snehith, who had acted with an orangutan, has earned not only name and fame but also lot of fans. According to the reliable sources, more than four lakh school children watched ‘Appu Pappu’ in and around Bangalore. The movie was produced by Snehith’s father Soundarya Jagadeesh who also directed ‘Masthu Majaamaadi’ with Sudeep in a key role. Snehith made a guest appearance in that movie.

“I am very happy with the encouragement by the Kannada cine buffs. Now, many school as well as college students reach out to me to get my autograph. It is very overwhelming. Many social organisations have been inviting me to attend their cultural programmes,” says Snehith, with a smile.

The good news is that ‘Appu Pappu’ is all set to be made in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi. “Some of the scenes will be re-shot again in Cambodia with orangutan. We are in talks with Ali for the Telugu version and Kalabhavan Mani for the Malayalam version. The artistes for the Tamil and the Hindi versions are yet to be finalised,” says Jagadeesh.

He said that the well-known Tamil film director Ramnarayan has come forward to handle the megaphone for Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi versions. “We are doing it on a partnership basis. The shooting will commence shortly,” he says.

As of now, Jagadeesh is contemplating to arrange screening of ‘Appu Pappu’ on the outskirts of Bangalore and other places. “I am yet to cover many schools in Bangalore. There is a lot of demand from school children to watch this movie,” he said.
