BANGALORE: After a four-year gap, director Indrajit is all set to make a comeback with a bang. Known as a young director who has the ability to feel the pulse of the youth, Indrajit is leaving no stone unturned to make his forthcoming film 'Huduga Hudugi' a huge success at the box office.
And to make that happen, Indrajit has shot an exclusive promotional song for the film, making him the first director in Kannada filmdom to do so.
Indrajit who has made guest appearances in a few films, has turned dancer, with this video. Featured in the song sequence are Irish girl Siobhan and Indian models Deepa Shetty, Ruth and Akanksha along with Miss India Earth, Nicole Faria.
To get his moves right, Indrajit attended dance sessions for two weeks under the guidance of choreographer Murali.
“I want to promote this film among the youth because it is made to cater to their needs. It has all the elements that are required to keep the youth happy,” says the director.
Apart from dancing, Indrajit has also composed music for two songs- 'Usire...' and 'Saathiya'. While 'Usire...' is sung by Kunal Ganjawala, the latter is sung by Sunidhi Chauhan.
The film 'Huduga Hudugi' has Mumbai belle Sada, Goa girl Ileana and Chennai-based Lekha Washington to provide glamour. Sameer Dattani, who acted in Indrajit’s 'Monalisa', plays the lead in this film.
A fashion show will be held in Mysore on Thursday as part of the promotion of the film. It will be the first time such an event will be held for a Kannada film’s promotion. “Well-known models will walk the ramp at Sandesh Hotel in Mysore. These models will wear the attire that is featured in 'Huduga Hudugi'. The objective of the fashion show is to showcase the quality of the costumes that we have used in the film," notes Indrajit.
Apart from this, the director plans to organise a talent competition at the Town Hall in Bangalore on October 22 as part of the film’s promotional activities.
“The competition is for the youth. Each of the participant will be given one minute to showcase his/her acting skills. The winners (boy and girl) will be part of our next film," explains Indrajit.
