The release of the much awaited and hyped Rebel Star Ambarish and Namma Kichcha Sudeep starred big-budget film Veera Parampare has been postponed by a week. As per plan, Veera Parampare was slated for release on October 22 but was postponed to October 29.

Director S Narayan wanted to release the film as per schedule but had to succumb to the pressure from producer K Manju. The reason: Manju is one of the producers of Sudeep and Ramya-starred film Kichcha Huchcha that was released on last Friday.

Manju’s contention was that release of Sudeep’s other film within a week will come in the way of Kichcha Huchcha’s box-office collection.

According to film industry sources, Narayan is known for fixing the date of release of his film on the day of its muhurat function itself. As per his plan, he fixed October 22 as the date for release of Veera Parampare. He had made arrangements for its release. However, he has postponed its release by a week.

It may be recalled that many people used to ask Sudeep whether he was happy with his two films releasing within a span of one week. He used to tell them that cine buffs always encourage good films and he need not to worry about the release of his two films within a short span of time.

Sudeep’s fans have high expectations on Veera Parampare since Rebel Star Ambarish played a key role in this film. Aindrita Ray also acted with Sudeep for the first time.

With the postponement of Veera Parampare’s release, producers of Kichcha Huchcha will expect box-office collection of their film to remain stable.
