Om Prakash’s film Chandralekha, starring Chiranjeevi Sarja, will launch a new actress Shanvi Srivastava. She has done two Telugu films, Lovely and Adda, already. Nandhita was supposed to play the lead in Chandralekha, but she was dropped in the last minute because of a clash of dates and Shanvi was called upon to take her place. Chandralekha is a remake of a Telugu film, Prema Katha Chitram.
This will be Chiru’s second horror film in the year after Whistle. Currently, the film’s cast and crew is in Hyderabad to complete the second schedule of shooting.
