After releasing its first look on Twitter and a teaser trailer on YouTube, there seems to be enough social buzz for Yash’s latest film Masterpiece. The makers are building the excitement among the public with shoots in popular marketplaces and main roads in Bengaluru. The film started rolling from April 15 and all of Gandhibazaar was abuzz as a crowd of over 5000 people gathered to watch Yash and Chikkanna shooting in the midst of it all. “It was a procession scene and we had brought our own people for the sequence. But, later we used the entire crowd who had gathered to see the shoot and this added more realism to the scene. We are currently shooting on the roads and will continue to do scenes in and around Bengaluru,” said director Manju Mandavya. He is also eagerly waiting for music director V Harikrishna’s music, with whom he is working for the first time. “I have always liked his music. He is planning five songs for the film and almost all are peppy numbers. We needed a certain sound for Masterpiece because Yash will have a lot of dancing in it. And Harikrishna has started working on the songs accordingly,” said Manju.
Masterpiece has Mumbai girl Shanvi Srivastav as the heroine.
