Bedi, The New Villain in Town

A Sharadhaa

Remember Rajat Bedi who played the antagonist in Koi Mil Gaya starring Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta? The Bollywood actor who disappeared after a few films will now be reintroduced into filmdom in Sandalwood by director Raghavendra Hegde.

Rajat, who has changed his name to Raj Singh Bedi, will be playing the antagonist opposite Darshan in Jaggu Dada. Confirming the news is the director, who says, “I have known Raj for a long time now. He had left films in between and was settled in Canada as a businessman.

He kept his tinsel town connect going by  producing a few Hindi serials. I was looking for an equally good villain opposite Darshan and I thought he fit the bill and chose him. He is also excited to face the camera after a long time and to work in a new industry.”

Meanwhile, the director who is finalising the rest of the star cast for the film, is still to search for a heroine. He needs to finalise this before going on the sets from the first week of August.
