Neer Dose is Back to Sizzle

A Sharadhaa

The film Neer Dose, which was launched in November 2012 but went through a series of controversies leading to several delays, seems to have created a strong branding among fans. So much so that the makers refuse to shelve the project and the film seems to be bouncing back into the public eye with director Vijay Prasad and producer Ashu Bedra taking over the project.

Ashu, who hit the limelight with the mega serial Radha Kalyan under his home banner Ashubedra productions, has taken over the production responsibilities of Neer Dose.  Confirming the news, Ashu Bedra said, “I was producing Suni’s upcoming project Simpleagi Innondu Love Story and that is when the topic of Neer Dose also came up and I decided to produce it.”

Neer Dose made headlines when the filmmakers announced Ramya as the lead actor. It also ran into controversy when it was stopped halfway through when Ramya opted out of it as she got busy with her political career. This also led to a Twitter war between Jaggesh and Ramya.

As per our sources, a lot of work has to be done before they actually start shooting for the project. An interesting fact is that the revival of Neer Dose comes at a time when there are rumours circulating about Ramya’s return from London. Ashu Bedra said, “We will announce the shooting progress as well as finalise the heroine,” Right now all I will say is that Neer Dose is back to sizzle.” Apart from Ramya and Jaggesh, the film’s initial cast included senior actors Dattatreya and Suman Ranganathan.
