Rana Vikrama is all set to make a splash with Reliance Entertainment confirming the release in more than 50 to 60 theatres outside Karnataka. The company is going all out to take the film to every nook and cranny of the country. According to S Yathish Babu, Assistant Manager  of Reliance, the film will be simultaneously releasing in major cities like Mumbai, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Goa, Kochi, Delhi as well as in small towns like Salem, Coimbatore, Krishnagiri, Hosur and Ooty among others. “The number of theatres might increase closer to the release date,” he says.

“This is the first time a Kannada film is getting a simultaneous release on such a scale across the country,” he says. The company also has plans to make a huge splash outside India. With Rana Vikrama going to the censors this week, the makers may be looking at an early-April release. Talks are going on to release the film in as many theatres abroad, for which a separate censor audit will be carried out.
