BENGALURU: Looks like director S Krishna’s patient wait has finally paid off. His much-awaited project Hebbuli, which was announced almost one-and-a-half years ago, is finally set to roll on April 20. Sudeep, who will soon complete shooting for a song in Ravi Kumar’s Kotigobba 2, has alloted dates for Hebbuli.

The good news for the cinematographer-turned-director is that the film will be shot at a stretch.  Hebbuli is being produced by Raghunath under SRV Productions, in association with Umapathy, who is an industrialist and Sudeep’s friend investing in the project. The film is believed to have a whopping budget between Rs 25 and 30 crore.

Krishna, who is currently scheduling the dates of actors and technicians, shares his plan with City Express.  “We will be shooting in Jammu & Kashmir, Mysuru, Hyderabad, Ballari, Bengaluru, Iceland and Norway. Sudeep will have a new look in Hebbuli. Ravichandran is already on board along with Ravi Shankar, Sampath Raj and Kabir Duhan Singh will play the three villains.”

Krishna is now busy finalising heroines for his film. “We need to select two female leads for Ravichandran and Sudeep. Though we have a couple of choices, we will finalise on someone who is flexible and can give us good dates. Talks are on,” he says.
