Darshan seems to lend enough space to welcome perfection even if time is at stake. And, going by the delay in releasing his film

Viraat, it may not be difficult to conclude that he is an actor who appreciates distinct thoughts of the director. On his own accord, the film which is releasing after a long hold, humbly credits the film being a reality to the director H Vasu. “This film was only possible because of the director who in spite of so many difficulties made sure that the movie releases,” he states.

Touted as yet another commercial entertainer, according to Darshan, like many of his previous releases, Viraat too has an important message. “The film is about the power problem.

Every year, in March, Karnataka  suffers  from power shortage.

Finding a solution is the thin line of the story.  In a film, the concept stands out, but in reality, we are not sure if it can be implemented, considering the bureaucracy,” he notes and asserts that the film’s strength is in its story.

Viraat has newcomers Vidisha Srivastava, Chaitra Chandranath and Isha Chawla playing the female lead characters while Sumalatha, Ravi Shankar, Sadhu Kokila and Bullet Prakash complete the casting.

As for his next, Darshan is off to Mumbai to shoot for Jaggu Dada. “The shooting is going on at a brisk pace and we will complete soon as I get ready for my next project Chakravarthy,” he says.
