Operation alamelamma by simple Suni

Director introduces yet another actor Manish Rishi, in his next, with Shraddha Srinath as its heroine.

A Sharadhaa

Director Suni, after the critically  acclaimed and commercially successful Simplag Innondu Love Story, has taken no time to start on his next project. Surprisingly, he has quietly gone on floors with it from Monday. It is not known why Suni is keeping silent about Operation Alamelamma.

Our sources reveal that this time, he is trying a thriller for which he has written the story and dialogues.

The director, who has encouraged and given a big entry for newcomers in Kannada, has this time decided to give a platform to a theatre artiste Manish Rishi. Manish will be debuting on silver-screen with this film.

Interestingly, Operation Alamelamma will see Shraddha Srinath playing the female lead. She is one of the most sort after actresses in Kannada industry at present, even before her debut U-Turn releases. In the movie, she plays a journalist who finds herself entangled in a murder while working on an innocuous article. For Shraddha, Suni's next is the third film she has signed in row after Urvi.

She is currently in New York, along with director Pawan Kumar, and is attending the premiere of U-Turn that was held on May 8. Shraddha will be joining the team from June.

This movie is Suni's first attempt at a thriller and based on a kidnapping. In the movie, the police trap as innocent man and name him the kidnapper. Not more can be revealed, say our tight-lipped sources. It is again a new team and even the producer and music director are newcomers. Abhishek Kasargod will enter tinsel town as a cinematographer with this film. Suni intends to reveal all the details once he is done with the photoshoot of the hero, who will be getting a makeover in this film.
