Music director, Arjun Janya, who is having a blast directing music for star-studded films such as Hebbuli, Chakravarthy and The Villain has scored tunes for Tiger. And going by the songs we have heard so far, Arjun has not limited himself to any particular genre of music.

In a conversation with City Express, Arjun says that a director’s vision for the movie guides the music. “Music can only become an important part of the film if the director takes an active interest during the songs’ composition and helps the music director understand what is expected of him (or her)... In Tiger’s case, Tarun Sudhir along with his brother and director Nanda Kishore helped in creating the album through and through,” he says.

The album has six songs, including  an introduction track sung by Sudeep, and two bits.  Among the highlights is a folk song Chinada hunanda, chinnada benne dose, a track sung by Vijaya Prakash, which throws some light on the story. The album also has a devotional song on Lord Ganesha, by Shankar Mahadevan, says Arjun. There is also a folk song, with lyrics by Dr Nagendra Prasad, sung by Sonu Nigam and Anuradha Bhat.
