Trataka will be a relaunch vehicle for Hridaya

A Sharadhaa

About six years ago, Hridaya made her Kannada debut with Orata I love You, only to take a  voluntary break from Sandalwood.  The makers of her first movie introduced her as Sowmya. This  one-film-old actress is now happy to be relaunched by Shiva Ganesh in Trataka, which is supposed to be an investigative thriller.

Explaining her reasons for her disappearance after one film, Hridaya says, "I had just started with my first PUC when I did Orata I Love You. But then my parents were determined that I complete my education first and then return to acting. The first three years, I was busy with studies and completed my hardware engineering course, then I took three years to groom and prepare myself with dancing and fitness routines. In the meantime, I did get a lot of offers, but no projects that I felt would help me to make that comeback. Among all the stories I have gone through, I felt Shiva Ganesh's script would be a good relaunch vehicle for me and I chose to be part of it."

Hridaya plays a pshyciatrist in the suspense thriller. The film will also set the relaunch of Rahul Ainapur who was initially launched by filmmaker Sunil Kumar Desai. The two share screen space in Trataka along with Ajith Jairaj.
The actress' parents preferably want her to work in Kannada, and so is the case with Hridaya too. "I hope Sandalwood encourages by offering us some good projects," she signs off.
