The makers of Shivarajkumar-starrer Leader have released the movie’s trailer on Friday, in time for Sankranti, and it shows the Century Star in a different light. The team has wrapped up 70 per cent of the shooting in Karnataka and has decided to shift the location for the remaining portions to Manali, from Kashmir.
The change was made after consulting with Shivanna, who backed the decision because of the ongoing trouble in Kashmir. Back from a recce, the crew will shoot the major portions at Manali from February first week.
The film, produced by Tarun Shivappa and Hardik Gowda, is a project helmed by Narasimha (who earlier went by the name Sahana Murthy).
The film features Pranitha Subhash as the female lead and Ashika Ranganath playing Shivanna’s character’s sister. Leader has an ensemble cast including Srinagara Kitty’s daughter Parinitha, Vijay Raghavendra, Prakash Belawadi, Rockline
Venkatesh and Telugu actor Krishna Vamshi.
