Sandesh, Pavan Wadeyar and Darshan join hands

This producer who worked with the star in  Airavata waited for 2 years to work with him again; project now to take off next year

Darshan at present is the busiest star in Sandalwood, with his long line-up of movies. Curently, he frequents the dubbing studio for Prakash Jayaram’s Tarak, the shooting of which was completed recently. The next in line is his landmark film Kurukshetra. Among the many producers who have been queuing up to associate with the star is Sandesh N, who has been waiting for the past two years. And a recent photo posted on social media indicates that Sandesh and Darshan might join forces soon. The two had earlier worked together for Airavata, which was released in 2015.

The photo, which has producer Sandesh, Darshan and director Pavan Wadeyar in it, has got many talking. And the producer confirms that a project is on its way: “Pavan Wadeyar will be helming a Darshan starrer, which I will be producing. We had recently met for a story discussion, which is still in the initial stages. An official announcement will be made once everything falls in place.”

As of now, the project will only go on floors next year, Sandesh says, depending on Darshan’s schedule. “Tentatively, the film has been titled Wadeyar but it all depends on the story, which will be decided after Pavan is done with the script,” says the producer, adding, “I like the way Pavan Wadeyar handles the film technically, and he has had a few hits in his kitty. He comes with a simple storyline that has strong content, which is what I liked about the director.”

On taking a long gap after Airavata, Sandesh says that he was particular about working with Darshan and did not mind waiting for him.
