The trailer of Adarsh K Eshwarappa's debut Shuddhi, which grabbed many eye balls, has caught the attention of Puneeth Rajkumar. The actor was so impressed with it that he is now keen on watching the film, which he apparently told Adarsh.

"Puneeth, who is busy on the sets of Anjaniputra, took time to watch the trailer," says Adarsh. "He told that he would want to watch the film after the censor clears it, and that has been done now.  Even director A Harsha and actress Rashmika Manddana watched the trailer and had good words for the film."

Adarsh's Shuddhi is woven around three real-life incidents. It has an American girl, played by Lauren Spartano, who is on a spiritual journey to India and also set for a revenge. The film also features Niveditha and Amrutha Karagada in the lead.

The first time director was overwhelmed when Puneeth said that he was interested in producing a film for Adarsh, and asked the director to approach him whenever he has a good story.
"Puneeth also adviced us how to promote such films like Shuddhi told us to visit colleges and do block bookings. It was really good of the star to give us these tips," he says.
