Shraddha Srinath is currently on the sets of her first Telugu film Hey Krishna Mukunda Murari. The film directed by Ravikanth has her paired opposite newcomer Siddhu Jonnalegedda. “Shoot is going great and I am happy to be working with a wonderful team,” says the actress.

Meanwhile, Shraddha confirms that her next  Kannada project, after Operation Alamelamma. The actress will work with debutant director K S Nandeesha on that one. The film,  titled Godhra, will introduce a new pair to Sandalwood — Shraddha and Sathish Ninasam.

After having worked under Jacob Verghese as an associate director for 10 years, this will be Nandeesha’s first independent venture. He is currently assisting Jacob in the forthcoming film Chambal.

Interestingly, Shraddha has known Nandeesha for over two years now and his script narration was so good that it won her over immediately.

“I have always found him very calm and very sensible,” she says. “The story is very interesting and had me recalling Ram Gopal Verma’s films of the 90s. Moreover getting to act with Sathish will be a bonus.”

The project with Nandeesha will go on floors by June end, before which the director will be finalising the rest of the cast and have the right technicians on board.
