If everything had gone as planned, Mahesh Kumar’s directorial debut Ayogya would have been half way through its shoot. But the project faced a hiccup with producers changing hands, and the team is now starting afresh.
The film’s muhurath will be held today and will be produced by Crystal Park Cinemas and T R Chandrashekar. Chandrashekar is a producer for upcoming films Chamak, John Sena and Birbal.
The film stars Sathish Ninasam and Rachita Ram, who will be seen as a lead pair for the first time. It also features senior actress Saritha, who is known for her films with Rajkumar, and is returning to Kannada industry after a decade. Chikkanna, Rangayana Raghu and Ravishankar are others playing prominent roles.
The movie has music by V Harikrishna for lyrics written by Yogaraj Bhat.
Shooting for Ayogya will start on December 1, and all of it will be located in Mandya. First portions will have the hero with Rachita and Sarita will join the sets later.
