Nikhil Kumar’s debut Jaguar — a bilingual being made in Kannada and Telugu — had a southern siren, Tammannah Bhatia making a guest appearance for a special song. Now for the actor’s second film, Seetharama Kalyana, the makers are said to have approached none other than B-town beauty, Jacqueline Fernandez.
While she has been part of good projects, Jacqueline’s is also known for her scintillating dance performances - Aapka Kya Hoga (Dhanno), Jaadu Ki Jhappi, (Ramayya Vastavaiya) and Ek Do Teen (Bhaagi 2) to name a few.
Our source says, “The team, who is keen on bringing Jacqueline as part of Seetharama Kalyana is in discussions with the actress now, and they’re finalising payment and other terms. Jacqueline has been in the limelight for her role in Race 3, in which she was paired opposite Salman Khan, and is now busy with Tarun Mansukhani’s Drive, opposite Sushant Singh Rajput.
“It is just a matter of getting a nod from the actress, which the team has been waiting for. If all goes as per plan, and if Jacqueline gives us the green signal, she will be making her Sandalwood debut with this film,” our source adds.
Seetharama Kalyana, made under Channabika Productions, is being directed by A Harsha. The film features Rachita Ram in the female lead, with Sharath Kumar, Madhoo, Ravi Shankar, among others, in the cast. The film has J Swamy as its cinematographer.
