Puneeth to release Sankashta Kara audio today

Music director Ritvik Muralidhar, who is making his debut with this film, says that the unique subject helped him come up with a variety of songs

Sankashta Kara Ganapathi, which highlights alien hand syndrome (AHS), has created a lot of curiosity with its official trailer. Equal excitement being generated about the audio, which is releasing today. With PRK Audio buying the rights, Puneeth Rajkumar and Gurukiran will be releasing the album. Joining them will be musician Raghu Dixit, who has lent his voice to a track in the film. Directed by Arjun Kumar S, the film stars Likith Shetty and Shruti, among others.

Ritvik Muralidhar, who makes his debut as music director, is excited about the ablum release too. “Scoring music for a unique subject and a good team helped me to create a variety of songs for the film,” says the first -timer, adding, “It was challenging creating even five songs. One-and-a-half years of work and 35 to 40 tunes have gone into making this album, before we settled on the final five.”

Ritvik’s music for Sankashta includes a Rock song (which is the title track), a romantic duet, a slow number, among other tunes. “I have also come up with a Soft Rock number and a Classical inspirational track,” he says.

The music director is currently working on the background score. Sankashta has a few producers coming together to invest in the film, with  cinematography by Uday Leela.
