Is Arbaaz Khan going to make his Kannada debut with Ranam?

In Ranam, Chetan will be essaying the role of a revolutionist, and Chiranjeevi that of a police officer.

Multi-starrer Ranam, directed by V Samudra, is now in the last leg of shooting. Made under RS Productions, the film’s team has supposedly approached B-Town actor, Arbaaz Khan for an extended cameo. This is in addition to Chetan and Chiranjeevi Sarja in the lead.

“After another round of discussion, the makers are expecting a green signal from the actor. Following which, the team is likely to make an official announcement,” says producer RS Srinivas himself, adding, “Yes, we are keen to have Arbaaz Khan for this particular role. If they are acceptable to all our terms, the actor will be on board.  He will play an extended cameo in our film. If this does materialise, this will mark Arbaaz’s debut in Kannada.  

In Ranam, Chetan will be essaying the role of a revolutionist, and Chiranjeevi that of a police officer. In addition, Nithu Gowda will also be part of the cast. Gurukiran will be scoring the music and Niranjan Babu is on board as cinematographer.The bilingual film being made in Kannada and Telugu has director Samudra making his directorial debut in Sandalwood. Meanwhile, the Telugu version has artistes roped in from their own region.
