The ripples his last movie, Angamaly Diaries, created hasn’t subsided yet. But, director Lijo Jose Pellissery has already moved into his next project. Apparently, Chemban Vinod will play a lead in the movie titled E Ma Yau. According to the actor, the story doesn’t have a hero as such. “But, I play the lead character. It is a humour-based subject and narrates the tale of a place,” he added. The movie is being shot in Chellanam and nearby areas in Kochi.

Vinod, however, clarified that the movie deals with the present-day life. “We have just gone on the floors. It is hard to divulge more details now. There has been no formal announcement so far. It is just that we found a  perfect story to be made into a movie. This is the pattern we always follow and our future movies will have the same style,” said Vinod, when asked why there was no formal announcement before the movie started rolling.

The film, scripted by P F Mathews, will have Vinayakan and Dileesh Pothan in prominent roles.
Vinod, who scripted Angamaly Diaries, says he has already found his next subject and will put it on paper after Onam. “Yeah, there is a story in my mind. Right now, I am a bit busy. I may write it down after Onam, when I finish shooting,” he said.

The actor will also co-produce Tinu Pappachan’s debut movie, Swathantryam Ardharatriyil, with director B Unnikrishnan. He will also be seen in debutant Rateish Kumar’s Thrissivaperoor Kliptham that will hit the screens this week. Meanwhile, director Lijo Jose Pellissery took to Facebook to announce the start of his movie. He also posted an image, which bears the characters of a Pellissery venture.
