Askar Ali, whose debut movie Honey Bee 2.5 just hit the screens, has signed his next. Titled Kaamuki, the movie directed by Binu S, will have him playing a blind singer.
"Like the title suggests, Kaamuki is a romantic comedy. It is about a blind man who falls in love with a bold and smart college girl played by Aparna Balamurali," says Binu.
He added that the movie is every bit an entertainer. "It is a comedy. We have already started the shoot. It is a small movie," says Binu.
While Askar's debut movie was met with mixed reaction, Aparna Balamurali has been doing back to back projects with Sunday Holiday and Thrissivaperoor Kliptam hitting the screens last month.Director Binu's debut movie was Ithihasa, which was a box office success.
His last movie Style had Unni Mukundan and Tovino Thomas in the lead.
