Unni, Rima to play parents in clint

It’s official. Unni Mukundan and Rima Kallingal have paired up to play parents of a child prodigy in upcoming movie Clint. The film, directed by Harikumar, began shooting in Alappuzha on Thursday. 

Clint’s role will be enacted by Alok, a tv ad model, who is said to bear quite a resemblance to the young artist, who passed away when he was only seven years old.

Actor Joy Mathew will play the doctor who treats Clint who was diagnosed with kidney ailments.

Vinay Forrt, KPAC Lalitha, Renji Panikker and Salim Kumar will also play important roles in the movie, which is set to be a big-budget film.

Clint was known for drawing over 20,000 paintings during his short life time. Real life parents, Joseph and Chinnamma who will also act in the movie, spoke about their son during the film pooja ceremony which was held in Kochi.
