Rajini Chandy, who made a grand debut as a grumpy grandmother in Oru  Muthassi Gadha, will next be seen in Gandhinagaril Unniyarcha by debutant Jayesh Mynagapally. According to her, she will play Unniyarcha, a bold, no-nonsense lady who resides in a colony called ‘Gandhinagar’.

“Unniyarcha is not liked by anyone in the colony. The people think she is very tough and unapproachable. However in the end, they change their  perspective,” she says. The movie will have Parvathy Nambiar, Renji Panicker and Innocent playing main characters.

Rajini says she is also looking forward to doing a character that is very humorous. “Post Oru Muthassi Gadha, people  think I am just like her. In  fact, I am just the opposite,” says the actress as she describes herself as  humourous, pleasant and very open to people. “I am praying that I get to do  such a character. It will help shed my image,” says Rajini. So, will she only do characters that are central to the movie? “ No, I am open to doing any type of character,” she said.
