If reports are to be believed, Salim Ahamed's And the Oscar Goes to will star Tovino Thomas instead of Dulquer Salmaan. The project was announced last year around the time of the Oscars ceremony. The shooting is expected to commence soon in Canada.
Salim's last film was Pathemaari starring Mammootty. The film was critically acclaimed was regarded as one of Mammootty's best. Salim made his directorial debut with Adaminte Makan Abu, which won several awards including four National awards and four Kerala State awards.
