Krantidhara Nominated for Bengaluru IFF

After achieving critical acclaim atn Chennai International Film Festival, Odia feature film ‘Krantidhara’ has now been nominated for 7th Bengaluru International Film Festival (IFF) in Indian competition section. It will be screened in panorama of Indian Cinema to be held in December.

Made under the banner of Kadambini Media Pvt. Ltd, the film has been directed by Himansu Khatua and Susanta Bahinipati has been the cinematographer.

Krantidhara is based on the story of Itirani Samanta which throws light on the struggle of a woman in a political scenario in a positive way. Eminent Odia cine artists Samaresh, Gargi, Debashis Patra, Priya Mishra, Bijaylaxmi Praharaj, Bidyutprabha Patnaik, Puspa Panda, Hadu play significant roles in the film.

It is the first ever Odia film based on sync sound and the audience can hear the original voice of the artists instead of dubbed voices.
