Actor Krishna who debuted with  Talking Times’ 'Alibhabha', produced by Dad Pattiyal Sekar, is now ready with his next project. It's another home production called 'Katradu Kalavu'. This  romantic, action comedy directed by debutant Balaji Prasad.

The heroine is none other than Vijaylakshmi of 'Anjathey' fame who will be seen in a completely different light. “She is full of energy in the film. Vijaylakshmi is going to break all the cliché’s set about her so far. She is not playing the homely and sober girl but a completely different character,” says Krishna. He is optimistic about the pairing too, “Her face has a freshness since it's not been over exposed on screen so far.”

“The story is about a banker and an airhostess,” is all that Krishna reveals. They will be seen in different get ups and Krishna’s preparation includes learning Odissi dance and gymnastics. The latter is for a stunt in a circus scene which he wants to do himself without body doubles.

Nirav Shah, a Vishnuvardhan favourite, (for Krishna is Vishnu’s brother) is behind the camera and shooting is planned in exotic Kashmir apart from Chennai, Madurai and Rameswaram. “Nirav is the strength of the film. The film requires shooting in various tones and he is the strong eye we need behind us,” grins Krishna happily. The shooting is slated for April 9, keeping a September release in mind. Now, let‘s hope Krishna’s second film gives him the leg up in the industry.
