With two big releases– Vijay’s ‘Vettaikaran’ and Hollywood’s ‘Avatar’ slated for this weekend release, the producers of ‘Kandha Kottai’ are not so confident about getting the film slotted for release this weekend.

Possibly, when it’s about sports and films, things may not happen as predicted, as it involves lots of ‘shocks’ and ‘surprises’. Of course, ‘Kandha Kottai’ has good reasons to succeed at box office. The previous films of Nakul– ‘Kadhalil Vizhundhen’ and ‘Maasilamani’ have been successful at the box office (Maasilamani was churned out by the producers of this film).

Though, there are probabilities of audiences opting to watch an alternative film when they don’t get tickets for the biggies. Situations maybe pertinent with ‘Kandha Kottai’, since almost all the shows of ‘Vettaikaran’ and ‘Avatar’ have been booked for next 4 days.

On the flip side, AGS Entertainment has failed to promote ‘Kandha Kottai’ to a greater extent. As a matter of fact, half the town is still unaware that the film is hitting screens this Saturday (December 19).

In the past, we've seen many good films flunking at box office mostly due to lack of publicity. Lets hope that ‘Kandha Kottai’ does not faces the same fate.
