Sunday evening at Hotel Raintree was abuzz with the cast and crew of Kandasamy, along with friends, family and well wishers coming together to celebrate the success of a film which had the fans waiting for years together before finally hitting the big screen.
Actors Vikram and Shreya looked elated as they shared the success story of the film along with director Susi Ganesan. Kandasamy, which saw the gross collection of Rs 1.73 crore (Rs 1,73,43,778) in the first week alone in Chennai, released in 18 theatres in the city. The film’s whopping success has created a new record in the Tamil film industry.Produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, the music for Kandasamy has been scored by Devi Sri Prasad.
