CHENNAI: ‘Nadunisi Naaygal’ is Veera’s first film as an actor, but he does not have the jitters that debutants usually are known for. This is because Veera is well acquainted with the nuances of the South Indian film industry, having worked as the assistant to director Gautham Menon in several films.

And, it is in a Gautham Menon’s film ‘Nadunisi Naaygal’ that Veera will make his onscreen debut with. The thriller costars Sameera Reddy.

Ask him about his experience as an actor in Goutham Menon film and Veera has a surprise. In a statement to the media, he said that Gautham Menon was not the one who had polished his (Veera’s) acting skills; it was the other way around. Veera says that director Gautham Menon had to explain each and every shot to the actor so many times that by the time the shooting ende,d the director had become a very good actor.

‘Nadunisi Naaygal’ tells the story of a psychopath.
