Although Bala’s previous releases– Pithamagan and Naan Kadavul won more awards in various arenas, these films weren’t really successful at box office. But this time, he seems to have come up with a script with definite aims of filling producer’s pockets with profit.
Bala’s upcoming film Avan Ivan will be a new-fangled film from filmmaker Bala with realistic panoramas. The film features actors Aarya and Vishal and Janani Iyer stars in lead roles. Earlier, Sarath Kumar’s daughter Varalakshmi was supposed to don the female lead and due to some unavoidable issues, Janani Iyer has replaced her now.
The film is produced by AGS Entertainment and Yuvan Shankar Raja scores music. When asked Bala about not working with maestro Ilayaraja this time, he stated that since its youth-based film, the team felt that Yuvan Shankar Raja would be the right choice.
The film will start rolling shortly and will be completed within 6 months of time.
