WITH new faces in the lead, Marupadiyum Oru Kadhal’s trailer and audio were launched at the Sathyam Cinemas recently. Debutant Joshna, daughter of yesteryear actress Saroja attended the event and looked smart and comfortable in her casuals. Actor Anirudh makes his Kollywood debut with this film. A love story, the film revolves around a girl from London who falls in love with a Chennai guy and how they communicate through the Internet.
The songs in the film have also been penned down by lyricist Vaali and Na Muthukumar. Saga music has purchased the audio rights of the movie. The highlight of the launch was the screening of an item song done by Sanjana with a journalist Devaraj. The hero of the day Srikanth Deva was all smiles as the guests present at the launch praised the music director for his upbeat, foot-tapping music.
Produced by Connect Film Media, Vasu Bhaskar has directed the film. Director K Bhagyaraj, actor Y Gee Mahendra were among the others who walked the red carpet.
