CHENNAI: Amidst the entire hullabaloo surrounding the enormous success of the sci-fi ‘Enthiran’, tabloids claim that encouraged by the film’s success at the box office, producer Kalanithi Maran is planning to release a 3D version in English.

Trade pundits admit that a film of this magnitude has never been made before in India and that the film has surpassed all expectations. 3D would be just another frontier for the film. Rajnikanth has already left for the Himalayas to relax and rejuvenate, like he does after each blockbuster film of his.

Plans are on to release an English version in 3D for the international audience. But there are some who wonder if the new version is going to make any difference to the Indian audience that is already enjoying the action extravaganza. There are unconfirmed reports that additional 7 minute footage will be added to the 3D version.
