The audio launch of late actor Murali’s 100th film Kavasam was a dedication to the talented actor, who died recently at the age of 46 due to cardiac arrest.

Those present at the launch, including director K Bhagyaraj and Murali’s son Atharva spoke about the versatile actor and his down-to-earth attitude. A portrait of Murali was unveiled on the occasion. Kavasam is produced by Sri Nandeeswarar Movies. M S Manimaran, a former assistant with director P Vasu makes his directorial debut with Kavasam. New face Sai plays the lead role.

Murali dons the role of a cop in this film.

Two songs and a trailer were screened on the occasion. The Minister for Information Parithi Ilamvazhuthi released the audio of Kavasam and K Bhagyaraj received the first copy.
