Prakash Raj’s wife launches dance academy

Pony Verma, the acclaimed Bollywood choreographer, has started the Indian School of Performing Arts in Mumbai.

Pony Verma, wife of actor Prakash Raj, launched her own academy, Indian School of Performing Arts, on June 9, in Mumbai. In association with four veterans of the media industry (Shokat Babul, Pranay Anthwal, Jatish Varma and Sameer Dixit), Pony Verma, as promoter of Media Headquarters Pvt Ltd (MHQ), will spearhead Indian School of Performing Arts (ISPA), first of its kind center. ISPA includes Dance Education in forms like Bollywood, Salsa, Cha-Cha, Rumba, Hip- Hop, Locking, Popping etc. Other interesting International and contemporary forms will be introduced soon.

With the core thought of learning from the masters, Pony is looking into every fine detail of the curriculum and is imparting hands on training with practical guidelines to enter Bollywood.

The event was graced by who’s who of Bollywood like Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Govinda, Vivek Oberoi, Mugdha Godse, Neetu Chandra, Rohit Shetty, Jasveer Kaur, Ashiesh Roy, Sharleen, Daljeet, Shama Sikander and Babbu Mann.

Prakash Raj was also present at the occasion.
