Where is 'Mankatha’s music?

Ajith's fans were expecting to hear the film's songs on his birthday, but the director is maintaining an eerie silence.

CHENNAI: The expectation for 'Mankatha' is only growing everyday.

Ajit’s 50th movie started off with much fanfare and was announced that the film would hit the theatres on May 1, which is also Ajith’s birthday.

However, Venkat Prabhu later said that the release has been postponed to June.

Now that Ajith’s birthday falls on Sunday, thala fans are eagerly waiting at least for the film’s songs to be released. The industry sources say that one track from the film is expected to release if not the whole album.

Set in Mumbai, 'Mankatha' stars Trisha opposite Ajith. The film is produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri’s Cloud Nine Movies and Yuvan Shankar Raja scores the music.
