Actor Meera Nandan, whose latest Tamil flick Suriya Nagaram has opened to moderate reviews, is currently shooting for a Malayalam movie Mallu Singh, in Kochi. And the movie is special for her as it marks the coming together of  the crew  and cast of her previous flick Seniors (2011). “Seniors was a bumper hit in Malayalam last year and I’m happy that I was a part of it,” says Meera. While a major portion of the movie has been shot in Punjab, few scenes are being canned in Kerala currently.

Meera is playing one of the four sisters of Harvindar Singh (played by Unni Mukundan) , the three others being Rupa Manjari, Aparna Nair and Samvritha. “Harvindar Singh is a Malayali settled in Punjab. When his brother Ani (played by Kunchacko Boban) comes to visit him, he finds him to be a goonda protecting his sisters,” says Meera and adds, “It’s a complete commercial movie and will be a laugh riot.”

While she is happy about the reception for her role in Suriya Nagaram, she doesn’t want to restrict  herself with doing similar roles.

“I can be glamoruous, but I can’t do a skin show. I need to be personally satisfied about a film before I decide to do it,” says the actor. Meera has also signed a Kannada movie Crorepati, apart from another Malayalam movie as well.
