Actor Sricharan is definitely  a happy man! The lawyer-cum-actor, who played the role of a terrorist in Payanam and Siddarth’s friend in 180, will now be seen in the Ajith-starrer Billa 2. However, the latest on the actor is that he has been approached by director Prem Sai, who is currently directing a film for Gautham Menon. He says, “Yes, I was approached by director Prem Sai for his upcoming project with Jai and Abhinaya. However nothing has been finalised as yet.”

For Sricharan, Billa 2 has been a great learning experience. The actor, who has shared screen space with actors like Ajith, Rahman, Manoj K Jayan, just can’t stop raving about his experiences on the sets.

Says he, “I’m playing one of the supporting roles in the film. Though the role is small, it has been a great learning experience for me. Actually, I didn’t have much dialogues in Billa 2, but it was a tough task to play a subtle character. Portraying my emotions without any dialogues was something that I had not done.”

Apparently, Sricharan was also approached by Shankar to play the role of Sathyan in Nanban.

However, things didn’t come through due to unknown reasons.

He says, “I’m glad that I didn’t do that role as I know I definitely wouldn’t have performed as well as Sathyan.”
