The makers of the film have approached the duo to launch the movie’s soundtrack

That's the latest development with regard to Prabhu Solomon's forest thriller Kumki. Though the director completed shooting for the film a few months ago, post production work seems to have taken time.

Now the movie is nearly ready and the crew is looking for the right date to launch the audio. Produced by Thirupathi brothers, Kumki will feature actor Prabhu's son Vikram and a debutant Lakshmi Menon in the lead roles.

It is heard that the filmmakers have approached both Superstar Rajinikanth and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan to release the soundtrack of the movie in grand, filmy style. Since actor Prabhu is a good friend of both Rajini and Kamal, it's likely that they will attend the launch. It has been quite a while since the duo appeared together for a film function, and if they agree to do so, it would make the audio launch an eagerly anticipated event in Kollywood. Composer D Imman has scored the music. Meanwhile, Vikram was in Mumbai with his father Prabhu on Wednesday to get the blessings of actor Amitabh Bachchan.
