Arya in director Sundar C's next with Vishal

Express News Service

'Avan Ivan' was a twin delight for the Tamil audiences  with two big actors Vishal and Arya playing lead roles, that too in a movie helmed by acclaimed filmmaker Bala. And now, it looks like the duo will share screen space once again!

This will be for the film 'Madha Gaja Raja', to be directed by Sundar C. The movie, which has Vishal in the lead, boasts of a bevy of stars including Anjali, Sadagopan Ramesh, Nitin Sathyaa and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. The latest to join the list is the 'Boss Engira Baskaran' star Arya. The actor, it is said, will be doing a short but significant role.

When contacted, Sundar C confirmed that Arya was doing a guest appearance in the film. Shooting of those scenes involving the actor were canned in Hyderabad this week, he added.

“It was just a day of shooting,” said Sundar C, adding that he wanted someone big to play the role, and Arya  readily agreed to do it. “He came all the way from Chennai to Hyderabad to shoot for MGR,” he revealed.

Vishal and Arya have shared a great rapport ever since Avan Ivan was being made, and it is rumoured that Arya accepted to feature in MGR only on Vishal’s request.

The shoot of MGR is progressing at a brisk pace in Hyderabad.
