The Swiss Alps have an important place in many an Indian film, thanks to their natural beauty that makes them an ideal shooting spot.

And it would seem the fascination continues in Kollywood as well, as yet another film unit heads to Switzerland. The unit of Endendrum Punnaghai is leaving for the mountain country on April 15. The film stars Jiiva and Trisha along with Vinay and Andrea Jeremiah and is directed by I Ahmed.

Speaking to CE Jiiva, who has had a hectic travel calendar these past few months due to shoots, says, “The story moves to Switzerland and hence we are heading there. We will be shooting certain important scenes and a song.”

The unit is expected to shoot in places like Schilthorn, Berne and Zurich apart from other spots. For Jiiva it’s going to be one more foreign trip after which he will head to Morocco with the unit of Ravi K Chandran’s Yaan in June.
