The much-awaited Ajith Kumar-starrer Tamil action-thriller "Arrambam", currently in post-production phase, has joined the Diwali race along with actor Karthi Sivakumar's "All In All Azhagu Raja".

"Our film 'Arrambam' will finally hit the screens during Diwali. It will be a feast for Ajith's fans as it is almost after a year that his film is coming out," the film's producer A.M. Rathnam, told IANS.

"Arrambam", which features an ensemble cast of Arya, Nayanthara, Rana Daggubati and Taapsee Pannu, is directed by Vishnu Vardhan. He had earlier directed Ajith in Tamil action-drama "Billa".

The film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, and cinematography by Om Prakash.

Ajith is currently shooting for Tamil rural action-drama "Veeram", and it is likely to release during Pongal next year.
