Ramanujan's Audio Hits the Airwaves

The audio tracks of the upcoming biopic Ramanujan was launched at the Suryan FM radio station on Friday. The film directed by Gnana Rajasekharan, starring Abhinay Vaddi, Bhama and Suhasini Maniratnam, has music composed by Ramesh Vinayakram.

The cast and crew of the film, apart from renowned playback singers P Unni Krishnan, Vinaya and Vani Jayaram, attended the event.

Talking about the challenge of composing music for a period film, Vinayakram said that he used old world instruments to recreate the atmosphere required for the era the story was set in, highlighting the historicity of the story. He added that a lot of importance was given to the background score to ensure that the movie took the audience back to the days of the mathematic wizard,

The music album that contains eight tracks is now available on Divo at music stores.
